Construction....

Mr K Subramanian, a retired accounts supervisor from TNEB started his idea of marriage hall with a neat survey of pros and cons from local Kalyana mandapam owners,  managers as well as localities. He planned from the scratch with the help of Mr Iyyappan's construction team. The team efforts were efficiently spent for an year to get the final shape of kalyana mandapam with a well spaced dinning hall which is capable of handling 100 people at a time. Neat and well equipped kitchen fecility with all required utensils is just aside of the dinning place which has been constructed ergnomically to handle  all the dinning people properly.  These two sections are major part of ground floor plan and the rest were wash rooms and rest rooms. The function hall was constructed in the top floor with an arrangement of seperate room facility for bride and groom and a small stage, where usually the bride and groom used to be higlighted in the functions.

Beginning...

K Subramanian , slightly faded white dhothi with an ordinary shirt shows the meaning of simplicity and hard work in this 21st century. Oftenly we can find him doing some gardening work under the shadows of  coconut trees in his garden. But its easy to see him in the manager room of RKS Mahal who is the sole proprietor of this Kalyana Mahal, dedicated his efforts to establish a nice gathering place cum building for all the auspicious functions of his own village people. This place was an nightmare for everyone who walks in the street before this RKS Mahal appearance because of stray dogs and poor street lumination. Now the entire street is busy because of this kalyana mandapam. In the year of 2007, Mr K Subramanian started working on his idea of a small village hall for Ambalavanpuram as well as Pulavanpatti people and then he realised that his locality people had to walk nealrly an mile for the marriage hall. So he decided to give a little bigger picture on his idea of small hall to reasonably quite big and decent marriage hall for his village people.
